How Ordering Works
Seed to Sanctuary is a small home nursery based in Belleville, Ontario that offers vegetable, herb, fruit, and flower seedlings grown from seed using sustainable and organic growing practices. Plants are grown in small batches to ensure strong, healthy seedlings ready for your garden.
In addition to locally grown seedlings, the shop also offers natural wellness and garden products from partner brands. These products are shipped directly from the supplier and are not grown or shipped by Seed to Sanctuary.
Because seedlings grow quickly and quantities are limited, plants are offered through online ordering with local pick up or local delivery options. These pick up and delivery options apply to seedlings only. Because seedlings are delicate living plants, they are not shipped by mail. Ordering online allows you to reserve the varieties you want before they sell out.
Visit the In-Stock Seedlings page to see which plants are currently available. Each listing includes a photo, variety information, basic growing details, and the price per plant. Photos are provided as a general reference for the plant variety. As the season progresses, we will update listings with photos of the actual seedlings as they grow. Inventory may change throughout the season as new seedlings become ready.
Once you have selected your plants, add them to your cart and proceed to checkout. At checkout you can choose “Pick up” or select “Ship” to request delivery. If delivery is selected, you will choose the appropriate delivery rate for your area. After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details.
Pick Up
Seedlings are available for pick up in East Hill, Belleville.
2026 Pick Up Dates
May 9–10 and May 16–17
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
The exact pick up address will be provided at checkout. Customers may arrive anytime during the pick up hours.
If these pick up times do not work for you, please reach out and we will do our best to arrange an alternative pick up time.
You may wish to bring a box or tray to safely transport your seedlings home.
Local Delivery
Local delivery is available within Belleville, Trenton, and Prince Edward County.
To request delivery, select “Ship” at checkout and choose the appropriate delivery rate for your area.
• Belleville / Trenton Delivery – $10
• Prince Edward County Delivery – $20
Minimum order for delivery: $50
After placing your order, we will contact you to arrange your delivery time.
After receiving your seedlings, they should be transplanted into your garden or containers shortly after bringing them home. Plant descriptions in the shop include basic growing information to help guide you.
Because plants are grown in small batches, availability is limited and some varieties may sell out quickly.
Seedlings are living plants and cannot be returned after pick up or delivery. If there is ever an issue with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to make it right.
Seed to Sanctuary also supports local animal rescue. 20% of profits support Baladi & Sled Dog Rescue of Ontario, helping provide safety and second chances for animals in need.
