Sweet, crisp, and early to harvest, Antohi Romanian is a unique heirloom pepper treasured for its mild flavour and high productivity. Its pale yellow fruits ripen to deep red, offering a sweet, slightly smoky taste perfect for roasting, sautéing, or fresh eating. Originally brought to North America by a Romanian acrobat, this pepper adds both story and flavour to the garden.

• Full sun (6–8+ hours daily)
• Prefers fertile, well-drained soil with consistent moisture
• Space plants 18–24” apart
• Start indoors 8–10 weeks before last frost; transplant after danger of frost passes
• Harvest when peppers are fully coloured and glossy

Antohi Romanian Peppers grow beautifully with basil, onions, and tomatoes. Their upright habit allows for interplanting with herbs that deter pests like oregano or marigolds. Avoid planting near beans or fennel, which can stunt growth.
